The story of Francalia began in France, where Jen and Christophe met in 1985. Jen later moved to Paris in 1988, where she studied French and worked in advertising, while Christophe pursued a career in finance. Their shared passion for travel and culture led them to Morocco, where they developed a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship and locally made artefacts.

Following the birth of their first child, Chloe, the couple relocated to Australia and saw an opportunity to introduce handcrafted Moroccan products to the Australian market. This marked the beginning of Francalia. Soon after, their curated collection expanded to include fine Limoges porcelain, and over the years, they have continued to source high-quality homewares from around the world—including France, Poland, Slovakia, Portugal, Vietnam, and Turkey.

Jen and Christophe’s vision has always been to offer thoughtfully selected, beautifully crafted products that enrich the Australian home and reflect the timeless charm of global artistry.
